Braddah Jiu-Jitsu Artarmon

Braddah Jiu Jitsu Artarmon is one of multiple locations across Sydney founded by Lucas Sachs and Martin Melecchi. The academy is part of a passionate martial arts community dedicated to providing a safe and supportive environment for practitioners of all skill levels. With a culture rooted in respect, discipline, and camaraderie, Braddah believes that Jiu Jitsu is not just a martial art, but a lifestyle that brings valuable lessons both on and off the mats.

The Artarmon location offers comprehensive Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu programs for all ages and experience levels, including specialized programs for toddlers (3-5 years), kids (6-9 and 10-15 years), and adults ranging from foundation classes to all-levels training. The academy also offers No-Gi grappling programs and recently launched an innovative BJJ for Rugby program for ages 9-15, developed in partnership with Australian Rugby Sevens Olympian Michael Icely.

Led by head instructor Lucas "Bambam" Sachs, a 4th degree black belt with over 28 years of experience and numerous championship titles including 1st place at IBJJF International Masters and UAEJJF Australia National Pro, the coaching team includes black belts Martin Melecchi, Diego Prates, Raphael Moraes, Domenico Novello (1st degree), and brown belt Brett Gibson. The team is committed to helping members improve their physical fitness, learn self-defense, and achieve their goals whether for personal development, competition, or general fitness.
