Bernardo Magalhaes - Life BJJ

Life BJJ is a Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu academy founded by Bernardo "Trekko" Fuks Magalhães, a 5th Degree Black Belt and 6-time Australian BJJ Champion. Bernardo began training at 14 years old in Brazil, won the Brazilian Championship three years later, and moved to Australia in 2008, where he earned citizenship through his exceptional talent. He received his black belt in 2004 under Vinicius Aieta, head coach of Gracie Tijuca in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.

Life BJJ operates multiple locations across New South Wales, including Taren Point (the main academy), Bundeena, and Coffs Harbour. The academy specializes in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu classes for kids (4+), teens, men, and women, offering a safe, professional, and family-friendly environment to learn the gentle art. Training programs cater to all skill levels from beginners to advanced practitioners.

Under Bernardo's expert instruction, Life BJJ emphasizes not just technical proficiency but also building a strong sense of community. The academy offers a variety of programs including fundamentals, no-gi grappling, kids classes, women's classes, private instruction, and corporate programs, making Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu accessible to everyone regardless of age or experience level.
