Atos Balneário Camboriú

Atos Balneário Camboriú is an official affiliate of Atos Jiu-Jitsu, one of the most recognized and respected teams in the Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu industry. Founded in 2008 by World Champions Andre Galvao and Ramon Lemos, Atos has become synonymous with technical excellence and competitive success, producing multiple World Champions annually across both Gi and No-Gi formats. The team is credited with pioneering revolutionary techniques including the 50/50 guard, berimbolo, leg drag, and lapel guard systems that have transformed modern BJJ.

Located in Balneário Camboriú, Santa Catarina, Brazil, the academy is led by Professor Jorge "Dedei" Mafra, who brings the Atos championship pedigree and technical innovation to the local community. The academy offers comprehensive training in both traditional Gi and modern No-Gi grappling, following the Atos curriculum that has produced legends like the Mendes Brothers, Keenan Cornelius, and the Ruotolo brothers.

Atos Balneário operates as part of a global network of over 20 academies worldwide, maintaining the team's high standards for technical instruction and competitive preparation. Students train in the same systems used by ADCC and IBJJF World Champions, with access to the proven training methods that have made Atos one of the most successful competition teams in BJJ history.
