Black Helmet Jiu-Jitsu in Blumenau, Santa Catarina, is led by a highly accomplished 6th degree black belt instructor with 36 years of experience and 24 years as a black belt, trained directly under Master Carlos Gracie Jr. The academy has achieved remarkable success on the international stage, earning 10th place in the world No-Gi ranking and securing numerous national and international titles including competitions in Las Vegas, London, Lisbon, Mexico, and Ireland. The team has won gold 16 times at No-Gi Open championships and claimed victory 4 times at the prestigious ADCC (Abu Dhabi Combat Club) - the Submission Fighting World Federation.

Black Helmet's training philosophy emphasizes forming warriors both on and off the mat, focusing on discipline, strength, and personal growth through the art of Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. The academy offers a comprehensive approach to physical conditioning, self-defense, and mental resilience, with classes structured in small groups to ensure individual attention and technical precision. The training environment promotes respect and constant evolution, welcoming practitioners from complete beginners to advanced competitors.

The facility features Olympic-grade tatame mats, air-conditioned training areas, and a waiting room with live class transmission for parents and guests. Black Helmet serves students from age 5 onwards with age-appropriate programs including Baby Eagles (ages 3-5), Little Eagles (ages 6-13), adult programs across all skill levels, specialized training for practitioners over 40, and private lessons. In addition to traditional gi-based Jiu-Jitsu, the academy offers No-Gi grappling, wrestling for Jiu-Jitsu, and self-defense classes, maintaining a professional structure with limited class sizes to ensure quality instruction and safety for all members.
