Associação Uma Vida

Associação Uma Vida is a non-profit organization (NGO) in Campinas-SP that provides social programs for low-income communities. Founded in 2015 with a mission to empower adolescents and youth for the job market, the organization began operations in September 2016 in the Vila Olímpia neighborhood, serving residents from settlements, at-risk areas, and favela complexes in the Ribeirão Anhumas region.

The organization offers a comprehensive sports program that includes Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, Ballet, and Muay Thai for children, youth, and adults. Their Jiu-Jitsu program focuses on developing core values such as discipline, respect, self-confidence, focus, and perseverance. The training promotes physical and mental health benefits including motor development, coordination, flexibility, muscular strength, and cardiovascular endurance, while also helping to reduce stress, anxiety, and depression.

Beyond martial arts, Associação Uma Vida creates a welcoming and inclusive training environment that promotes interaction between people of different ages and backgrounds, helping students build friendships, overcome challenges, and achieve their goals. The organization serves a community living in poverty and extreme poverty, providing free access to quality programs that transform lives and create real opportunities for change.
