## Overview

**Name:** Instituto Bom Kombat

**Description:** The Bom Kombat Institute was founded in 2008 by Professor Alexsandro Gomes Ferreira, a black belt in Jiu-Jitsu and a graduate in Physical Education.  From the beginning, he dedicated himself to promoting and implementing social actions, with the purpose of transforming lives through education, sports, and social inclusion. In 2016, the Institute was officially established as a non-profit organization, reinforcing its commitment to promoting human and community development. 

We work with socio-educational activities and encourage the practice of sports in its various forms – educational, participatory and competitive – as tools for social transformation, strengthening bonds and contributing to a more just and inclusive society.
