Equipe Gladiadores de Jiu-Jitsu is a Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu academy led by Professor Marcelo Galdino, based in Patos de Minas, Minas Gerais, Brazil. The team has achieved significant success in national and international competitions, including earning an unprecedented spot at the 2014 World Club Championship through their performance at the Brazilian Interclubes championship.
Professor Marcelo Galdino founded Equipe Gladiadores with a vision of spreading high-quality jiu-jitsu instruction. In 2019, he launched the first franchise of Equipe Gladiadores, which has since grown to over 36 affiliated academies spread across Brazil, Argentina, and Portugal. The team has produced numerous champions and continues to compete at the highest levels of the sport.
Beyond his academy work, Professor Galdino has built one of the largest online jiu-jitsu platforms in the world. Starting his instructor career in 2009, he created his YouTube channel in 2011 and founded his online school in 2018. His digital platform now serves over 18,000 students worldwide, making him a pioneer in online Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu education. The academy emphasizes both traditional techniques and modern innovations, preparing students for competition while maintaining the fundamental values of jiu-jitsu.
