Caju Jiu-Jitsu Academy

Founded in 2018 in Niterói, Rio de Janeiro, Caju Jiu-Jitsu Academy (CJJA) is more than just a gym that teaches fighting techniques. The academy maintains a proud tradition of martial arts education, guided by four core values: Respect, Discipline, Humility, and Honor. Every student is treated with dignity and respect, and the same behavior is expected among all members of the academy.

Under the leadership of Professor Romulo de Souza Azevedo, CJJA offers a comprehensive Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu program designed to transform lives through martial arts training. The academy's mission is clear: to educate and form students with respect, discipline, humility, and honor. Regular practice and commitment to learning are encouraged in all training sessions, creating an environment where students recognize that Jiu-Jitsu is a continuous journey of learning and growth.

CJJA provides programs for all ages and skill levels, from children's classes (Turmas Infantis) to beginner-friendly programs (Iniciantes) and advanced training for graduated students (Graduados). The academy also offers specialized No-Gi grappling classes and women's-only classes (Feminina). With classes running from early morning to late evening throughout the week, students can find training times that fit their schedules. The academy emphasizes building physical development, discipline, and confidence in all its students, both on and off the mat.
