## Overview

**Name:** Projeto Social - Aprove Jiu-Jitsu Team

**Description:** **Our Jiu-Jitsu** project is one of the first and most established of Aprove Social Projects, active since 2017. We offer free classes for children from 5 years old, teenagers and adults. More than teaching the martial art, we promote values ​​such as discipline, respect and citizenship, as well as encouraging care for physical and mental health.

With a tatami mat that is a benchmark in the western region of Paraná, we serve approximately 180 participants, including 40 athletes who represent Aprove in competitions. Our classes follow a progressive methodology, focusing on self-defense, technical development, and ethical training, within the Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu grading system.
