**Role:** Head Instructor

**Bio:** Lucas "Foguinho" Souza is a Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu black belt under Guto Campos and a representative of the Guetho Academy & Atos team coalition. He received his black belt promotion on June 7, 2022, after establishing himself as one of the top colored belt competitors in the IBJJF circuit.

The nickname "Foguinho" (meaning "Little Fire" or "Little Fiery One" in Portuguese) dates back to Lucas' early childhood and reflects his intense, passionate approach to the sport. In his debut year as a black belt (2022-2023), Foguinho demonstrated excellent form and quickly established himself as one of the top competitors in the middleweight division (82.3 kg / 181.5 lbs).

As an up-and-coming talent in the BJJ competition scene, Foguinho is recognized alongside other "young guns" as a rising star in the sport. He now leads Atos Jiu-Jitsu Porto Alegre, bringing world-class instruction to students in Rio Grande do Sul.
