Budapesti Honvéd BJJ

Budapesti Honvéd BJJ is part of the historic Budapesti Honvéd Sportegyesület (Budapest Honvéd Sports Association), offering high-quality Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu training under the leadership of Professor Csámpár János. The program operates at the Budapesti Honvéd Judo Szakosztály facility in Budapest's 13th district.

Led by Prof. Csámpár János, a 2nd degree black belt (professor) in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, the academy provides comprehensive training in both Gi and No-Gi grappling. Professor Csámpár brings extensive martial arts experience including 2nd dan ranks in Judo, Aikikai Aikido, and Karate, along with certifications as an MMA coach and ADCC referee. The instruction team also includes black belt instructor Hegyi Áron and purple belt coach Hoang Norbert, ensuring students receive expert guidance at all skill levels.

The academy emphasizes the core BJJ philosophy that technique overcomes raw strength, teaching students effective self-defense through ground fighting, joint locks, and choke holds. Training includes regular sparring (rolling) sessions to develop real combat skills in a safe, supportive environment. The program offers multiple classes throughout the week with morning, midday, and evening sessions to accommodate different schedules. New students can try the program for free during the last week of every month before committing to membership.
