ASDC Lavica Project

Lavica Project is a Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu academy located in Catania, Sicily, Italy. The gym embodies the philosophy of antifragility (N.N. Taleb), focusing on gaining from disorder and becoming stronger through challenges. Led by head coach Giuseppe Rodelli, a BJJ black belt with extensive experience in traditional Jiu-Jitsu and kickboxing, the academy offers high-quality instruction in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, grappling, and self-defense.

The academy has a strong competition focus, with students regularly participating in IBJJF events, Italian BJJ championships, and international tournaments across Europe. Recent achievements include multiple podium finishes at prestigious competitions such as the European IBJJF Championship in Rome and various Italian national events.

Giuseppe Rodelli serves as the head coach and brings a wealth of knowledge from his background in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, traditional Jiu-Jitsu, and kickboxing. His approach emphasizes technical excellence, competition preparation, and the development of mental resilience through martial arts training.
