Former university lecturer who left teaching in 2011 to develop The Combat Academy. 1999 World Masters Judo Champion, 5th Dan Judo black belt (BJA). Multiple Brazilian Jiu Jitsu championships including 2009 CBJJ International Masters & Seniors Brown Belt Champion, 2004 European Champion (Blue Belt), 2003 Pan American Champion (Blue Belt). Certified IBJJF referee who has officiated at European Championships and other major events.
