As the flagship location of the Atlas Jiu-Jitsu team, this facility is the sole school in the Capital Region offering comprehensive programs in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, Mixed Martial Arts, Striking/Kickboxing, and Wrestling, complete with a full cage and an extensive Strength and Conditioning curriculum.
Founded and led by Edward Anthony, a 3rd-degree black belt under Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Coral belt Julio "Foca" Fernandez, Atlas Jiu-Jitsu has established itself as a world-class training destination. Edward's impressive competition resume includes multiple Pan American gold medals, National Championship titles, a World Silver Medal, and the #1 IBJJF world ranking in his division as a Purple belt, Brown belt, and Black Belt. His journey began at the renowned Renzo Gracie school in NYC under John Danaher, and he also holds a Brown Belt in Judo under former Olympic hopeful Nick Kossor. With thousands of individual accolades and an impressive collection of national and international team trophies, the Atlas family's dedication is competition-proven.
