BJJ Coach - Blackstone Jiu-Jitsu

Blackstone Jiu Jitsu is a veteran-owned Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu academy located in Blackstone, Virginia, offering programs for both kids and adults. The academy is an official affiliate of Butch Hiles Brazilian Jiu Jitsu and BJJ Coach International Association, and is registered with the International Brazilian Jiu Jitsu Federation (IBJJF).

Led by Professor Ron Jacobs, the academy provides a welcoming environment for students of all experience levels and fitness backgrounds. Coach Connie Rodriguez also plays a key role in the academy's instruction team. The coaching staff is known for their dedication and commitment to ensuring each student succeeds in their Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu journey.

The academy recently relocated from their original location at 123 S Main St to their current facility at 957 N Main St in Blackstone. Through their affiliation with Butch Hiles, students receive instruction according to the standards of the Butch Hiles lineage, which traces back to Marcello Monteiro and the Brazilian Jiu Jitsu Federation of Rio De Janeiro, Brazil.
