Their mission extends beyond teaching the real Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and self-defense techniques to creating an atmosphere that fosters growth, humility, and family values.

The academy is led by Professor Claudio Martins, a 5th degree BJJ black belt from Gracie Humaitá Niterói and a 3rd degree Kodokan Judo black belt from CBJ. With more than 42 years of experience, Professor Claudio has taught multiple world champions and is himself a world and Pan-American champion. He is passionate about the art of Jiu-Jitsu and self-defense techniques. Alongside him, Coach Karoline Martins, a 1st degree BJJ black belt from Gracie Humaitá Niterói and 1st degree Kodokan Judo black belt from CBJ, brings 19 years of experience specializing in women's and children's programs. She is a 3rd place world champion and 2nd place Pan-American champion, with a passion for martial arts and practical self-defense applications.

The academy operates on ten core principles: God, Family, Respect, Discipline, Focus, Confidence, Safety, Leadership, Friendship, and Hierarchy. They ensure that students and their families train in a safe space while gaining lifelong skills that build character and confidence.

He is passionate about the art of Jiu-Jitsu and self-defense techniques. Originally from Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, he moved to Florida in 2021 to pursue his passion for martial arts and share his knowledge.


### Karoline Martins - Black

**Role:** Instructor

**Bio:** 1st degree BJJ black belt from Gracie Humaitá Niterói and 1st degree Kodokan Judo black belt from CBJ. She is a 3rd place world champion and 2nd place Pan-American champion. With 19 years of experience, she specializes in training women and children programs and is passionate about martial arts and the practical ways to use it for self-defense.
