Academia Rocian Gracie Jr Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu USA is a traditional Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu academy located in Gallatin, Tennessee, operating under the Rocian Gracie Jr. lineage. The academy teaches the authentic Rocian Gracie Jr. method of Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu as passed down from Carlos Gracie, the founder of Gracie Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, and Rocian's father Rocian Gracie Sr. Master Rocian Gracie Jr. (6th Degree Black Belt) and Professor Spillmann grew up together and have worked together for over 30 years. This family-operated academy is run by three generations of certified masters and instructors who are current or retired competitors and full contact fighters. The school operates in a 4,500 sqft facility with over 60 classes per week, focusing on self-defense training while developing life champions and top competitors. They offer Traditional Gi and No-Gi classes in a family-friendly professional environment. The academy has been voted one of the top martial arts schools in Sumner County, TN. Professor Konrad Olaf E. Spillmann, the head instructor, holds an IBJJF Black Belt in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu (received December 12, 2001), 9th Degree Black Belt in Taekwondo (Grandmaster Certified - Master 1st Class), and black belts in Judo, Karate, and is a Hapkido Master with over 50 years of martial arts experience. The teaching staff includes Master K. Spillmann (Brown Belt RGBJJ, 5th Dan Taekwondo), Master J. Spillmann (Blue Belt RGBJJ, 5th Dan Taekwondo), Instructor A. Spillmann (Blue Belt RGBJJ, 3rd Dan Taekwondo), and several certified assistant coaches. All staff members must pass full background checks and are Safe Sport Certified to teach children.
