Manny was born in California and raised between Los Angeles, Puerto Rico, and Mexico. Manny started his jiu jitsu journey training under the late Orlando Sanchez at Gracie Barra in Pasadena, California before transferring to 10th Planet HQ in Los Angeles and becoming a Purple Belt under Master Eddie Bravo. After moving to Austin with his family in 2018, he joined and helped coach the 10th Planet Austin team. After receiving his Brown Belt, he became the Head Coach and General Manager of the newly opened 10th Planet Round Rock where he ran it successfully for 2.5 years.  Manny is now sole owner and Head Coach at 10th Planet Georgetown where he carries on the love for jiu jitsu with adults and youth alike – most notably Manny executes an amazing 10P youth program to bring in the next generation of competitors. © 2010 - 2026 10th Planet Jiu Jitsu. Georgetown Mixed Martial Arts, also known as the Georgetown Killer Bees, is a comprehensive martial arts academy offering Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, No-Gi Grappling, MMA, and Kickboxing/Boxing training in Georgetown, Kentucky. The academy is part of the American Killer Bee Association network, a respected organization known for producing high-level competitors and technical practitioners. The gym is led by head instructor Adam Gomez, a black belt under Professor Israel Gomes of the American Killer Bee Association. Adam brings extensive experience in both gi and no-gi grappling, with a strong focus on fundamental technique development and competition preparation. The instructors include multiple black belts (Adam Gomez and Jake Childress), a brown belt (Allen Brooks), a purple belt (Jacob LeMaster), and a blue belt (Isaiah Gomez), providing students with instruction across all skill levels. Georgetown Mixed Martial Arts offers a comprehensive schedule with classes seven days a week, including specialized programs for children (ages 4-7 and 8+), fundamentals classes for beginners, advanced BJJ training, no-gi grappling, MMA, competition training, ladies cardio kickboxing, and open mat sessions.
