Bodega Jiu-Jitsu, founded in late 2022 by lifelong martial artists Kyvann Gonzalez and Chas Makk, is a unique No-Gi only Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu academy located in Maplewood, New Jersey. As close friends and training partners, Kyvann and Chas created Bodega Jiu-Jitsu from their shared dream of bringing world-class No-Gi training to the Garden State, with a vision to build an academy that caters to everyone from competitive athletes to complete beginners.

The founders believe martial arts serve as a "vehicle for developing human potential," creating an environment where students can push their limits and discover their capabilities.
