Andre "Dedeco" Almeida began training in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu in 1986 in his hometown of Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. As a 6th Degree Black Belt under pioneer Ricardo Liborio, Dedeco has dominated competitive arenas in both Brazil and America, earning numerous championships at the highest levels. Known as "The Maker of Champions," he formed his own school and association in 1996, developing a world-class stable of competitors, MMA athletes, and students across all ages and backgrounds. Beyond his BJJ expertise, Dedeco is also the co-founder of Origin USA, an American-made BJJ apparel company that has revolutionized the gi industry and become an industry leader.
