The gym employs a combination of teaching methods to ensure comprehensive learning. They use traditional teaching methods which established jiu jitsu as the most effective martial art in the world in the 90's and beyond. Additionally, they incorporate more modern methods such as "task-based games," also known as the "ecological approach." This blended methodology ensures students learn through technique demonstrations, drills, games, and live sparring.
Classes alternate between Gi and No-Gi weekly, providing students exposure to both styles of grappling. The academy offers a welcoming environment for beginners with a complimentary intro class - a laid-back, one-on-one coaching session designed to familiarize new students with basic movements, positions, and class structure. Private lessons, sparring footage analysis, and personalized training are also available for students looking to elevate their game.
