**Name:** Mat Chess MMA

**Description:** We offer classes in all major mixed martial arts components, including jiu-jitsu, Muay Thai, boxing, wrestling and combinations thereof in our MMA training.

We know how people learn, yet the martial arts world was somehow devoid of this understanding. Our approach to instruction, plus a competitive but uplifting environment, has our students progress at an accelerated rate. Ultimately, it’s made Mat Chess the premier mixed martial arts gym in Seattle.

Whether you’re new to martial arts or an active, experienced competitor, Mat Chess has the structure to support you and your goals.

Our approach extends to our kids’ martial arts classes as well. We’re proud to offer both our kids’ Brazilian jiu-jitsu and our Bryant After-School program, both of which benefit our young martial artists on and off the mats alike.
