Broome County Martial Arts is owned and operated by UFC and Bellator MMA veteran Tamdan "The Barn Cat" McCrory. With over a decade of experience performing at the highest levels of professional martial arts competition, BCMA provides beginner-friendly martial arts instruction to the Southern Tier of New York. The academy is renowned for helping students achieve their personal goals, whether losing weight, building confidence, or competing at the highest levels.
As a professional MMA competitor, Coach "Cat" McCrory has proven the effectiveness of his BJJ game with open weight tournament wins and multiple submission victories in the UFC and Bellator MMA. He brings a unique perspective that few coaches can provide, having walked the walk at the elite level of competition. The academy also serves as the Southern Tier's only World Thai Boxing Association (WTBA) affiliate school, teaching authentic Muay Thai as brought to America by Ajarn Surachai "Chai" Sirisute.
