Jimmy Morgan is a 10th Planet black belt under Jared Carlsten. He began Jiu Jitsu training in 2012 at 10th Planet Burbank, and after 6 years received his black belt. Jimmy has spent his entire Jiu Jitsu career under the 10th Planet flag, and has been an instructor at 10th Planet Burbank since 2016. While teaching, Jimmy has remained an avid high level competitor, having competed in multiple ADCC and EBI Trials. He began training solely as a UFC fan and instantly learned that he loved and appreciated the fine art of submission grappling. His passion for this sport has motivated him to pass on these skills to anyone willing to learn. Jimmy’s instruction will focus heavily on getting into a dominant position, followed by calculated submission attempts. His open and welcoming style of teaching will appeal to practitioners of all levels.
