The training philosophy at Canvas emphasizes that "Technique is the Goal." Classes focus on details and concepts that allow students to experience Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu as it's meant to be practiced – technical, efficient, and effective. The academy prides itself on maintaining a welcoming atmosphere with no egos and no politics, just Jiu-Jitsu and good vibes.
The gym is led by Anthony Tran, a black belt owner and head instructor with over 10 years of teaching experience.
