**Description:** Isla means island in Filipino and Chamorro, and at Isla Jiu Jitsu we welcome you into our tight-knit community (aka our island!). Isla Jiu Jitsu gives our students the opportunity to exercise mentally as well as physically, giving them the chance to personalize taught concepts.

We teach Jiu Jitsu by looking at the big picture. While championships and gold medals are great right now. We want our students to be virtuous people for a lifetime. Receiving these lessons from us and their peers is what keeps our students coming back and becoming better individuals. Students have even returned to be instructors and carry on the lessons we’ve taught them.
