Head Coach Daniel has trained and competed directly under Frank Barca, Australia’s first 10th Planet Black belt and owner of 10th Planet Melbourne since 2015 till present day, making the journey by plane 6 to 7 times a year. Under the direct guidance and mentorship of Frank, Daniel founded “Adelaide No-Gi Grappling” an academy striving to replicate the professional teaching style of Frank and the 10th Planet system. Daniel has competed both locally and interstate with quite a lot of success on the tournament circuit. On September the 9th 2018 Adelaide No-Gi grappling became officially affiliated under Eddie Bravo with the support and guidance of Frank. 10th Planet Adelaide is the 4th official moon in Australia along side Melbourne, South Melbourne and Hobart.</span></p>

Nate Harris is a black belt in the 10th Planet Jiu Jitsu system. He started training Jiu Jitsu and mixed martial arts in 2008. He started with the goal of getting in shape and having fun but almost immediately fell in love with the competition aspect and made it his life. Nate has competed and trained all over the US and was the second person ever to win one of Eddie Bravo’s ‘Combat Jiu Jitsu’ matches. 10th Planet Allentown, PA

Jon “Thor” Blank is a 10th Planet Jiu Jitsu black belt under 10th Planet Bethlehem owners Zach Maslany and JM Holland. Some of his most notable achievements were winning Ultimate Mat Warriors as a purple belt and, as a brown belt, winning the first 16-man combat jiu jitsu tournament at EBI 17 to earn the middleweight title with all 4 wins by submission. He also was a late replacement in the Combat Jiu Jitsu Fight Night absolute tournament, submitting UFC veteran Kevin Casey by heel hook to make it to the finals. Blank has appeared on stages such as the RISE Invitational, Fight 2 Win, Kasai Pro, Finishers Sub Only, and more. He has been in the top 25 pound for pound list for all of the 10th Planet schools for multiple years now. He also took 4th place in his first year at black belt during his ADCC debut in Anaheim, California, taking out Rustam Chsiev and Murillo Santana to make it to the semifinals. After winning EBI 17, Jon decided to use the money that he won getting all four wins by submission to follow his dreams and open up his own jiu jitsu school. 10th Planet Allentown is affiliated with 10th Planet Bethlehem/Finishers MMA. Jon hopes to make jiu jitsu into his full-time job and be able to quit his job as a union electrician. 10th Planet Bastrop, TX

10th Planet Airlock located in Bastrop, TX opened in 2023, initially as ‘Airlock Jiu Jitsu,’ and was adopted into the 10th Planet family in 2025 after owner & head instructor Reinaldo Villa received his 10th Planet Black Belt from 10th Planet Austin’s Curtis Hembroff. 10P Airlock offers no gi jiu jitsu classes for both adults and kids, as well as striking classes with Muay Thai & kickboxing. 10P Black Belt Rei Villa was born in Venezuela and grew up practicing martial arts. He moved to the US in 2001 and joined the United States Army as an Infantryman, deploying multiple times to the Middle East. During this time, he was introduced to the Army Combatives Program and fell in love with grappling. Upon returning to the United States, he sought to become an expert in this program, eventually becoming a full time Tactical Combatives Instructor at JBLM Washington, as well as receiving extensive training in SOCP, The Special Operations Combatives Program. In 2013, he began studying Jiu Jitsu under Professor Jason Palacios (Royce Gracie black belt). Due to the dynamic nature of military life, Rei moved to Texas in 2015, where he continued to train and compete extensively, eventually earning his first jiu jitsu black belt in 2020 from Professor John Ramseier (John’s Gym/LEAD BJJ). In February 2024, and after 20 years of honorable service, Rei chose to retire from the US ARMY in order to focus more on family and teaching.

Ben Gardner is the owner and grappling coach for Dokkodo Martial Arts/10th Planet Jiu-Jitsu Bath, NY.  Ben is a lifelong martial artist and started wrestling at the young age of 4.  He went on to study various traditional martial arts such as aiki-jujutsu, jujutsu, and karate – eventually earning a 2nddegree black belt in karate.  In 2011, Ben began training at 10th Planet Rochester and was immediately hooked.  He competed in various tournaments throughout NY state and the northeast, having success and winning various competitions at different levels along the way.  In 2021 Ben received his Black Belt from Chris Herzog in 10th Planet Jiu-Jitsu. 10th Planet Beirut’s head coach Talal Karaki, an athlete that has been immersed in martial arts as early as a kid is allowed, was first introduced to the 10th Planet System during one of his training camps in Singapore at Evolve MMA. Karaki instantly fell for the System, and under the supervision of Eddie Bravo’s black belt Slick Rick Marshal, Talal became the first officially ranked Singapore 10th Planet Practitioner. For the past years Karaki has been training rigorously at some of the best gyms in the world such as Evolve MMA, and AKA Thailand where his training partners/coaches included top UFC, ONE FC; and BRAVE FC athletes. After being introduced to the 10th Planet system in Singapore, the vision was to create the same energy and community that we experienced abroad back home.  It all began with an idea, how to grow the sport of Jiu Jitsu in Lebanon. In December of 2018 10th Planet Beirut became the first official 10th Planet affiliate in the Middle East and North Africa.
