**Name:** Bruno Lima

**Date of Birth:** September 04, 1993 (age 33)

## Bio

A Portuguese national who traded parkour and an early MMA career for the gi, Bruno Lima earned his black belt in June 2019 under Alexandre Machado, following the guidance of Handre Peters at the Gracie-Barra headquarters in Central Lisbon. His talent surfaced quickly on the national circuit and carried through to international competition as he ascended the ranks. A major competitive marker came against Stephano Correa, though Lima’s most notable trait remains his complete shift from cage fighting to jiu-jitsu, a transition that defined his competitive identity within the Machado lineage.
