## Bio

Davi Ramos was born on the 5th of November, 1986 in Rio de Janeiro – Brazil.

Ramos discovered jiu-jitsu early on in his life and was brought up through the ranks by Master “Casquinha”, the founder of the Top Brother academy and son of Carlson Gracie black belt Walter Guimarães. Davi slowly became one of the top representatives of the academy and an ambassador of Master Casquinha while competing abroad, being Davi Ramos the first to open a Top Brother academy affiliate outside Brazil, in Mexico.

Although a talented grappler, Ramos was lesser known to the broader BJJ audience prior to him joining forces with the Atos training camp. The team was already looked at as one of the top gyms in the world a fact that drew more exposure to Ramos. He would conquer most of his top competitive achievements while representing the famous San Diego based academy prior to joining the world of mixed martial arts.
