## Bio

Eduardo Tinoco emerged from the eastern side of São Paulo, starting his training under Carlos Alexandre at Academia Colisão before moving to the Almeida brothers’ academy at purple belt, working primarily with Gustavo. Representing the Ryan Gracie Academy banner during that period, Tinoco stayed with Almeida JJ after the September 2016 team split, often representing Atos JJ internationally due to the Almeidas’ partnership with the California-based team. Promoted to black belt on December 10, 2017 by Gustavo and Caio Almeida following a tremendous brown belt year, his early competitive marker includes the 2016 São Paulo State Final.
