Erich Munis

4x World & Absolute Champion Erich Munis is a black belt under Isaque Bahiense and Gabriel Figueiró. He gained recognition as a rising star in the sport after winning major international titles, including the IBJJF World Championship, Pan Championship, and European Championship. Munis first made waves in the grappling world when he won the 2019 Copa Podio Heavyweight Grand Prix as a brown belt, becoming the first non-black belt to claim victory in the prestigious event1. He is also the youngest of three accomplished BJJ athletes in his family, alongside his brothers Alex and Anderson Munis. He holds the number one spot in the IBJJF adult black belt Gi rankings, solidifying his status as the top competitor in the Gi division.
