5th Degree Black Belt Under Master Rickson Gracie A fifth-degree black belt Professor in Gracie Jiu-Jitsu under Master Rickson Gracie, Leonardo Xavier is a Brazilian-born American martial artist. He has won several world medals and has taught Jiu-Jitsu for over 25 years at renowned schools such as Academia Gracie de Jiu-Jitsu and Gracie Tijuca in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. He used to be an instructor at the birthplace of Gracie Jiu-Jitsu. Additionally, he is the only certified jiu-jitsu professor in the Houston region authorized to teach by the Academia Gracie de Jiu-Jitsu, which is now called Gracie Humaitá Academy, and Master Rickson Gracie, who is known as one of the most traditional jiu-jitsu schools and a legendary figure.
