Founder and head coach at Pirates BJJ Athens Samir 'Samouel' Krvavac emerges as a thrilling rising talent within the European BJJ scene. Hailing from a diverse Eastern European background, with roots in Bosnia and Slovakia, he was raised in Greece, where he honed his skills at Gracie Barra Greece. His journey into Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu began around 2008 in Athens, Greece, and from the outset, he was captivated by the sport, maintaining an unbroken commitment to training ever since. Sam boasts the title of Ultra Heavy No-GI World champion in 2018 and has clinched the gi European Champion title twice. Currently, he serves as the head coach and a full-time instructor at Pirates Athens. He is widely recognized for his mastery of the 'Kimura Trap' technique.
