Atos Jiu-Jitsu Porto Alegre, also known as Atos Guetho Jiu-Jitsu, is part of the renowned Atos Jiu-Jitsu team, one of the most successful Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu competition teams in the world. Founded by André Galvão and Ramon Lemos, the Atos team has produced numerous world champions and is known for its high-level technical instruction and competitive excellence. The Porto Alegre academy carries forward this legacy of excellence in the heart of Rio Grande do Sul. The academy is led by Professor Lucas "Foguinho" Souza, a black belt under Guto Campos who represents the Guetho Academy & Atos team coalition. Foguinho earned his black belt on June 7, 2022, and quickly made a name for himself as one of the top competitors in the middleweight division. His nickname "Foguinho" (meaning "Little Fire" in Portuguese) reflects his intense and passionate approach to training and competition. Under his leadership, students receive world-class instruction rooted in the proven Atos methodology. The academy offers Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu training for both children and adults, with programs designed to accommodate all skill levels from complete beginners to advanced competitors. Founded by Professor Suzanne Ramsden, the gym specializes in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and Muay Thai, providing a fun, dynamic, and safe learning environment for students of all ages and skill levels.
