Founded by André Pederneiras and Wendell Alexander in Rio de Janeiro in 1995, Nova União has produced numerous world champions in both BJJ and MMA, including legendary fighters like José Aldo and Renan Barão. Located in the Grajaú neighborhood at Rua Duquesa de Bragança, 15, this academy offers a comprehensive martial arts program including Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu (gi and no-gi), Muay Thai, and specialized programs for all ages and skill levels.
