Established in 2012, Elements Martial Arts has grown to become one of the foremost martial arts academies in Sussex, nurturing international competition success at every level while focusing on helping every person who walks through the doors achieve and exceed their goals. Part of the CheckMat international team via affiliation with Marco Canha's Fight Zone in London, Elements has built a reputation as one of the most successful martial arts schools in Sussex, producing National, Continental, and World Champions. The academy specializes in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, No-Gi Grappling, Mixed Martial Arts, Kickboxing, Freestyle & Submission Wrestling, and offers personal training with a well-equipped lifting and cardio zone. Yousuf ranks as the #1 overall Black Belt athlete under UKBJJA 2017, is a 4x British Open Gold medalist, Polaris Pro veteran, and active competitor since 2005 with an extensive competition record including European and World Championship medals. 10th Planet Glasgow

Steven Thompson is Eddie Bravo’s first Black Belt in Scotland and the second one in the UK . He runs the only official 10th Planet School in Scotland. He has been training in Jiu Jitsu for over 20 years .He is also trained in Japanese Ju Jitsu and has fought MMA. Steven likes to compete and has already won the Heavyweight NAGA UK Belt in Birmingham , and stepped up 3 weight brackets and took Silver at Super Heavyweight as well. He has also won Silver at the European NAGA finals in France.
