Estudante De Guerra (Student of War) is a personal Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu training philosophy created by Dustin "Clean" Denes, a 6th degree black belt and Brazilian Champion. This is not a traditional gym facility but rather represents Denes' unique approach to BJJ instruction, emphasizing "old school" fundamentals, battle-tested techniques, and a championship mindset. Dustin Denes is best known for his accomplished submission skills and the nickname "Clean, o Rei do Triângulo" (Clean, King of the Triangle). He earned his black belt in 2001 after spending over two years training in Rio de Janeiro with the legendary Brazilian Top Team. His lineage includes Marcus Silveira (Carlson Gracie Miami), Rodrigo "Minotauro" Nogueira, Murilo Bustamante, Zé Mario Sperry, and Ricardo de la Riva. He became Brazilian Champion in 2000, defeating highly technical fighters including Marcelo Garcia in the final. Denes played a major role in the founding and first generation of American Top Team, competing professionally in both BJJ and MMA. His training philosophy emphasizes strong defense, brutal offense, and techniques proven successful against the best competitors in Rio de Janeiro and São Paulo. He is fluent in Portuguese and holds a BS in Marketing from Florida State University and an MBA from Florida International University. His goal is to transmit his knowledge through teaching, inspiring youth and empowering students with legitimate BJJ from the source - Rio de Janeiro.

Ethos Jiu-Jitsu is a family-oriented Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu academy in Fullerton, California, founded by second-degree black belts Ron Mukai and Jerardo (Jerry) Linares, both under William Tetsch of Leon Jiu Jitsu.
