Mr. Gary Meek has been in martial arts for more than 30 years and currently holds a Black Belt in 10th Planet Jiu Jitsu under Master Eddie Bravo and a 5th Degree Black Belt in ITF Taekwon-Do. Mr. Meek has been a combat tactics and certified Krav Maga instructor for the military and law enforcement; as well as leading many protective service operations for senior military and political figures during his military career as an Office of Special Investigations (OSI) Special Agent. S.I.M.S. Martial Arts and Fitness Academy in O’Fallon Illinois, teaches the arts of ITF Taekwon-Do, SIMS, Cage Fitness, and 10th Planet Jiu Jitsu. Like 10th Planet, by using “No Way as Way”, S.I.M.S. We have built up a team that is strong on the mats and culturally. The instructors, many who still compete to this day, provide a home away from home in all our classes. No matter if you sign up for Jiu Jitsu, Muay Thai, Personal Training and Nutrition, or Women’s Jiu Jitsu (in its own building!), you will receive hands-on personalized instruction and can join any of our social gatherings.
