Manny was born in California and raised between Los Angeles, Puerto Rico, and Mexico. Manny started his jiu jitsu journey training under the late Orlando Sanchez at Gracie Barra in Pasadena, California before transferring to 10th Planet HQ in Los Angeles and becoming a Purple Belt under Master Eddie Bravo. After moving to Austin with his family in 2018, he joined and helped coach the 10th Planet Austin team. Andrew Alexander, is a black belt under Eddie Bravo and the owner and instructor of 10th Planet Grants Pass. He was officially certified by Eddie Bravo to teach the system in October 2013. Andrew strives to help each student reach their full potential. He believes in the 10th Planet system and how it has helped him and changed his life for the better, and he wants each person who comes in the door to experience that too. Andrews passion is evident in his consistent training, competing, and achievements. He frequently travels to other 10th Planet schools to train and learn from others in order to better himself and better his own students. Andrew is an avid competitor and has numerous first place wins, as do his students. Combined, Andrew has over 7 years of wrestling and Jiu Jitsu experience. Quin is a 10th Planet black belt under Jon Blank. He is one of the rare talented individuals in the 10P community that created his own submission – a choke from rubberguard that he named the New York Necktie – that he has successfully used in competition. Quin has taught all levels of no-gi jiu jitsu to all ages for over 8 years. Zach is a lifelong martial artist, wrestling from the age of 6 through college at the division 1 level at Drexel University. He earned his black belt in jiu-jitsu under Marcelo Garcia in 2022. He has competed at the highest levels of professional MMA, including being the first Bellator Bantamweight champion and consistenly being ranked in the top 10 in the world during his time in the UFC. Since 2021, Zach has been the head MMA coach at Finishers MMA / 10th Planet bethlehem.

Chris Hendrick has been training in the martial arts since he was 10 years old. He started training Brazilian Jiu Jitsu in December of 2008 and only competed 1 time as a beginner before going on to compete many times as a blue belt and competing in the purple belt divisions while still a blue belt. Chris is currently competing expert level on the tournament circuit and participating in super fight matches when invited. Chris received his blue belt in Gracie Jiu Jitsu in November of 2009. He started his MMA career in 2010, becoming well known throughout the Virginia MMA circuit as “The Black Ninja” because of his recognized use of crafty karate style striking inside the cage. It was also then that he fell in love with No Gi Jiu Jitsu because of its effectiveness in the cage. Chris was the grappling coach for the MMA Team No Limit out of South Hill, Virginia from 2010 – 2012. He moved to New Jersey in 2012 and started training with 10th Planet Bethlehem under JM Holland and Zach Maslany. At this time he also had an opportunity to teach kick boxing at a local yoga studio which blossomed into him running a full scale martial arts program. 10th Planet Joensuu is the second official 10th planet affiliate in Finland focusing purely in jiu jitsu and submission grappling. The gym is located in the heart of Joensuu in the eastern Finland. The gym is owned by the city and it offers training place for several martial arts clubs. Gym has a very friendly and welcoming atmosphere to help students find the beauty of technical jiu jitsu. Adlai is a lifelong martial artist with over twenty years of experience in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu. He holds a black belt in 10th Planet Jiu Jitsu under Eddie Bravo, and a brown belt under Rigan Machado. Adlai also has extensive training in Combat Submission Wrestling, and is a certified coach under Erik Paulson. In addition to jiu jitsu and wrestling, Adlai has also practiced a dozen other styles, including Taekwondo, Shinkendo, Muay Thai, Enshin Karate, and Aikido. Additionally, Adlai is a fully certified athletic trainer under ACSM, and has a Crossfit Level 1 and kettlebell certifications. An adamant believer in continuous learning, Adlai holds a bachelor’s degree in kinesiology from the University of Michigan, as well as a bachelor’s in biochemistry and a master’s in applied economics from Eastern Michigan University.
