About
Adam Ellis began his Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu journey in 2010 under Andy Roberts, a black belt under Roger Gracie and a pioneer of British BJJ. He earned his black belt in 2018, competing and achieving medals at every belt level. Adam is a 4-time European medalist at black belt, was the highest-ranked adult black belt male in the UK Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Federation in 2019, and ranked 12th globally in the IBJJF 2023-2024 Gi season (Black Belt Super Heavy Master 2). He is a Scramble sponsored athlete, serves as an inspector for major events (UFC, PFL, Bellator, Misfits Boxing), and is an ADCC C-class certified referee. Adam is first aid trained, licensed under the UKBJJA, and enhanced DBS checked.
