151: Should you go full-time?

Over the last decade the grappling industry has seen an influx of athletes forgoing traditional employment to pursue the life of a full-time jiu-jitsu competitor. I can't lie, it's cool gig. You get to spend your days training, travel the world, and get giant novelty checks. But there is more to the BUSINESS of the Jiu-Jitsu game than being underneath the bright lights of PPV events or IG Posts with overused quotes. You need to have and plan to make a living for yourself because the industry is cutthroat.
