The Hyperlyte has been an industry standard for years – from quality, to durability, to simplicity in design, and much like how Jiu Jitsu has evolved since we released the first Hyperlyte model in 2012, so has our vision and knowledge of gi construction. Jacket is made of 350 gsm (gram per square meter) superfine woven cotton and is a one piece construction with no back seam. The gi’s collar is made of EVA-foam to prevent sweat and bacteria absorbing into the collar. Pants are made of 8 oz twill cotton. Internal, flat drawstring. The icon stitch pattern on pants. Reinforced 4 inch, 10 stitch pearl weave layer inside the sleeves and cuffs for stronger grip breaking. The Hyperlyte is a very popular kimono when training and competing in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu.
