The kimono is made of 450 gsm (gram per square meter) pearl weave plus and the pants are made of 10 oz drill cotton. Pearl weave plus is a weave of higher density than the standard pearl weave, to increase durability. For further durability the Classic also has reinforced seams at critical points as well as double reinforced knee areas. The gi’s collar is made of synthetic heat resistant vulcanized rubber to prevent sweat and bacteria absorbing into the collar. Belt is not included.
