Cens Academy
Centre Omnisport Maritime, rue de l'Intendant 126, Bruxelles 1080
Cens Academy is a community-focused martial arts academy in Molenbeek-Saint-Jean, Brussels, dedicated to education through sport. The academy promotes values of effort, self-satisfaction, perseverance, and respect for others, creating an environment where young people can flourish, develop their skills, and become responsible and active citizens.
The academy offers Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu programs for both children and adults, emphasizing the art's focus on ground fighting and submission techniques. Their philosophy centers on the idea that a smaller, weaker person can successfully defend against a larger, stronger opponent through proper technique and leverage. Beyond BJJ, Cens Academy serves the community through various social initiatives including scouting, academic support, and excursions, aiming to promote integration and combat school dropout.
Led by the Houry family (contact: Khalid Houry and Khadija Houry), Cens Academy provides training at Centre Omnisport Maritime with programs tailored to different age groups. Their mission is to inspire a confident, perseverant, and respectful generation ready to make a difference in their lives and communities through martial arts training in a family-friendly atmosphere.
