Athletica Pits is a martial arts academy founded in 2012 by Márcio Clother in Manaus, Brazil. The team focuses on developing well-rounded fighters with training in multiple disciplines including Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, Luta Livre (Brazilian wrestling), MMA, Muay Thai, and self-defense. The academy is led by Márcio Clother, a 5-time World Champion with extensive credentials in martial arts. Márcio holds degrees in Sports Management and Physical Education, along with specialized training in nutrition. As a hybrid coach, he combines his expertise in both grappling and striking arts to create comprehensive training programs for his students. Athletica Pits emphasizes high-performance training and competition preparation. The team has produced numerous accomplished competitors and maintains a strong focus on technical development across all martial arts disciplines. Training is available for practitioners of all ages and skill levels, from beginners to advanced competitors.
