Escola de Jiu-Jitsu Fábio Carvalho is a Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu academy in Natal, Rio Grande do Norte, that began operations in 2014. The school was created with the goal of sharing knowledge acquired in the martial art over many years with students. The academy is registered with the Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Confederation (CBJJ) and affiliated with Gracie Humaitá. Led by Professor Fábio Carvalho, a 3rd-degree black belt, the academy offers programs for adults, women, and children. The curriculum emphasizes Jiu-Jitsu, self-defense, submission grappling, and functional training. The philosophy centers on quality of life and healthy living combined with physical activity practice. Professor Fábio Carvalho began training in 1997 and received his black belt in 2005. His journey included training with Combate Real under Professor Rodrigo Wanderley, later co-founding Dragão Team, and eventually joining Gracie Humaitá in 2014. The academy now serves nearly 100 students across the main location and two branches, with additional social projects serving the community. The modern facility features two mats, locker rooms, a pro shop, waiting area, kids' space, and a snack bar.
