Escola Delariva Olinda is an official affiliate of the renowned De La Riva academy, founded by Master Ricardo de la Riva, the creator of the famous De La Riva guard. The De La Riva network has over 103 units worldwide and more than 3,000 students, making it one of the premier Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu organizations globally. Students at official De La Riva schools have the unique opportunity to learn the De La Riva guard technique directly from the master himself through seminars and training camps. The Olinda location offers comprehensive Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu training for all ages and skill levels, with programs including kids BJJ, women's classes, gi and no-gi training. The academy follows the De La Riva methodology, emphasizing technical development through differentiated tactical training. Classes are structured to accommodate different schedules with morning, afternoon, and evening sessions available throughout the week. The academy is led by three experienced black belt instructors: Professor Simão Uchôa (3rd degree black belt), Professor Sanzyo Rafael (2nd degree black belt), and Professor Alexandre Vasconcelos (2nd degree black belt).
