CT Open VT Team is a martial arts training center in the Parque Verde neighborhood of Cascavel, Paraná, led by Professor Adriano Alves Antunes. The gym is part of the VT Team, under the leadership of Professor Valdecir Tegoni, one of Paraná's most respected BJJ organizations. Professor Adriano Alves Antunes is a second-degree black belt with an impressive competitive record spanning nearly two decades. Born in Vacaria, Rio Grande do Sul, Adriano began his BJJ journey in late 2006 under Professor Rodrigo Poderoso, training through purple belt. He then continued his development under Professor Mário Reis, earning his brown and black belts. In 2022, he received his first-degree black belt from Professor Valdecir Tegoni, and achieved his second degree in 2025 after five years with VT Team. With over 440 competitions throughout his career, Adriano's achievements include three Paraná state championships, eight Copa Paraná and Copa Cascavel titles, South-Brazilian champion (gi and no-gi), 3rd place at the 2024 IBJJF World Championship, 2019 Pan-American champion, Abu Dhabi Grand Slam runner-up, 2023 Copa Pódio champion, and multiple CBJJ Open and AJP titles. In 2025, he was awarded the prestigious "Osmar Xiquinho Zimmermann" Medal of Sports Honor by the Cascavel Municipal Chamber for his contributions to martial arts. CT Open VT Team offers a comprehensive martial arts program including Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu (gi and no-gi), Muay Thai, and Boxing. The academy provides training for all skill levels in a professional environment focused on technical development, competition preparation, and personal growth through martial arts.
