Founded in 1993 by Romero "Jacaré" Cavalcanti, Fabio Gurgel, and Alexandre "Gigi" Paiva, Alliance has established itself as the #1 team in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu according to IBJJF rankings. The academy is led by Alejandro Villaparedes Quiroz, a certified instructor with Alliance International credentials.
