Led by head coach and owner Casey Halstead, a first-degree black belt under Eddie Bravo and Jean Jacques Machado (7th degree red and black belt), 10th Planet Las Vegas has established itself as a world-class training facility. Casey brings over eight years of professional MMA coaching experience and owns multiple 10th Planet affiliates including Costa Mesa, Buena Park, and Orange locations. His impressive coaching resume includes working with elite UFC fighters such as Tony Ferguson (Ultimate Fighter Season 13 Winner), Mark Munoz, Cain Carrizosa, Diego Rivas, Ashlee Evans-Smith, Carla Esparza, and Anthony Birchak. He has also served as a guest instructor on The Ultimate Fighter Latin America for both Team Werdum and Team Gastelum, and currently serves as Event Coordinator and Match Maker for the prestigious Eddie Bravo Invitational. 10th Planet Las Vegas Central is a No-Gi Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu gym located in the heart of Las Vegas. As part of the renowned 10th Planet Jiu-Jitsu system founded by Eddie Bravo, the academy focuses on a technical approach to modern no-gi grappling without the traditional gi. The gym's philosophy centers on guiding students through the challenges of mastering this martial art, with lessons that extend beyond the mats into other aspects of their lives. The academy aims to build not only better jiu-jitsu practitioners but better equipped humans as well. All classes are considered beginner-friendly, with qualified coaching staff trained to ensure everyone feels confident and in control. The instruction team includes three experienced black belts: Jesy Rodriguez, a black belt under Coach Casey Halstead with 16 years of experience specializing in Judo-style takedowns, joint manipulations, and fundamentals; Dustin Harraway, a 10th Planet Las Vegas black belt and half guard specialist who teaches both adult and kids classes; and Bendy Casimir, known as "The Kneebar Guy," who has won championships in Gi, No-Gi, and MMA and brings cutting-edge techniques accessible to students of all levels.

9th Isle BJJ

9th Isle BJJ is one of the newest affiliates of Cascao Jiu Jitsu, training under Professor Walter Cascao Vital. The gym brings together the Hawaiian values of family (ohana), respect, discipline, hard work, and dedication, fused with the vibrant energy of Las Vegas. Walter Cascao, Brazilian-born, started training Jiu Jitsu in 1991 and has since traveled the world training, competing, and spreading his knowledge as a Pan American Champion and North America Champion. The head instructor, Gaspar "JunBug" Agabin, is a purple belt under Robert Drysdale with over 20 years of martial arts experience. Agabin's impressive competition record includes being the 2007 NAGA West Coast intermediate champion, 2011 IBJJF Las Vegas Open blue belt super heavyweight masters champion, and 2013 IBJJF masters super heavyweight purple belt bronze medalist. He also trained alongside notable fighters including Joe Stevenson, Marc Laimon, Kendall Grove, Jason "Mayhem" Miller, Tito Ortiz, and many others. 9th Isle BJJ specializes in developing a solid base in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, grappling, anti-bullying programs, and self-defense. Alliance Las Vegas

Cobrinha BJJ Las Vegas is an affiliate of the world-renowned Alliance team, led by Professor Hector Vasquez. Alliance is considered one of the most successful Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu teams in history, with 15+ IBJJF World Championship titles and over 300 affiliates worldwide. The academy is directly connected to Rubens 'Cobrinha' Charles, widely regarded as the best featherweight in BJJ history and the first (and only) black belt to complete the Super Slam—winning all 5 major tournaments (ADCC, World Championship, Pan Championship, European Championship, and Brazilian Nationals) in a single year (2017). Professor Hector Vasquez, known as 'Mighty Mouse,' has been training in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu since 2010. After being defeated by a female purple belt in his first class, he became completely dedicated to the art. Under the direct instruction of Cobrinha, Hector progressed from blue belt to brown belt in just 2 years and has since become a 5x World Champion, 2x World No-Gi Champion, 4x Pan American Champion, and 5x American National Champion. He continues to compete actively while building a competition team in Las Vegas. At Cobrinha BJJ Las Vegas, students benefit from world-class instruction rooted in the Alliance methodology.
